Staying Dry for the Start of the Week

Posted on March 11, 2019 by Brandon Bonds

As seen from GOES-16 (below), we are mostly clear in our area tonight. Earlier today, cloudy skies dominated our region due to some rain showers to our south (in the Nashville area). Thankfully, a high pressure system is making its way to the Ohio Valley. This provided some clearing this afternoon and some needed sun for your Tuesday.

As for the next few days, expect Bowling Green to stay dry until mid week (Wednesday night), when our next rain event moves in. For Wednesday, you can expect clouds to increase throughout the day, ahead of the rain that is set to start Wednesday evening. I will update you further mid week with what you can expect ahead of this next rain maker. Until then, enjoy the mild temperatures and sunny skies the first half of the week before rain and colder temperatures find their way back into south central Kentucky.
