Blue skies filled with lots of sun returns back to south-central Kentucky today. With a high pressure system to the north of the Great Lakes, sunny skies are dominating much of the eastern USA. Expect these conditions to stick around today and much of the weekend, before the next round of rain finds its way back into our area.
As seen above, a strong nor’easter is impacting the northeastern USA dropping heavy snow. Luckily for us, much of the southeastern US is left dry thanks to the high. A low from the midwest will move east bringing rain that should arrive Sunday afternoon into Monday.
