Wednesday morning it was reported by Jon Rothstein of CBS Sports that WKU had signed former Lipscomb guard Kenny Cooper.
WKU Basketball confirmed this information later in the day by posting a tweet.
WKU Head Coach Rick Stansbury had this to say about Cooper.
“He’s a high-character young man from a great family. He has the valuable ability to make players around him better, and he’ll bring a wealth of experience and toughness to our team.”
Cooper, a Nashville, TN, native has appeared in 100 games for Lipscomb with 67 starts, including all but one game over the last two seasons.
