On September 14 Western Kentucky and the University of Louisville will face off in Nashville at Nissan Stadium at 3 PM.

During ACC media days last week in Charlotte, NC, Satterfield made headlines with his comments regarding the current situation of the football program. Satterfield had this to say regarding his team-

“Some of the talent at App probably would start in front of these guys. And then the other way around with some. I just anticipated these guys would be a lot better, and it wasn’t the case.”

Last season the App State Mountaineers finished last season 11-2 with a bowl victory and going toe to toe in college park vs. Penn State (38-45 OT). App State was no walk in the park even though, being from the Sunbelt Conference.

You have to like hearing this being a fan of Western Kentucky.

WKU was close to defeating Louisville in 2018 under former Head Coach Mike Sanford. You have to like Western Kentucky’s chances under new Head Coach Tyson Helton in 2019.

See you in Nashville!
