Week 12 vs Middle Tennessee

This is the final home game for 14 seniors/ redshirt seniors at WKU. Middle Tennessee is coming off a year in which they hosted the Conference USA championship game, which they lost to UAB. They will come into the game after having a 2 game home stand.

The Offense

The Blue Raiders offense averaged 28 points per game. They rushing for 1892 yards for an average of 128 yards per game. They passed for 3650 for an average of 260 yards per game. They scored at a clip of 87% when making it inside the 25. They were able to score touchdowns 54% of the trips to the red zone.

Top Returning Offense Players

Chaton Mobley led the team in rushing yards with 629 yards from scrimmage. Asher O’Hara is the top passer coming back after throwing for 114 yards a year ago.

The Defense

The Blue Raiders defense gave up an average of 26 points per game.Teams rushed for 2311 yards for an average of 165 yards per game. They passed for 2985 for an average of 231 yards per game. They scored at a clip of 77% when making it inside the 25. They were able to score touchdowns 60% of the trips to the red zone.

Top Returning Defense Player

Reed Blankenship was the top tackler a season for the blue raider defense. He had 107 tackles (69 solo and 38 assisted).

Game Last Year

Last year Middle beat WKU 29 to 10. Middle rushed for 246 while WKU only rushed for 109. WKU passed for 270 while Middle threw for 228. Middle scored 5 out of 5 times in the red zone. WKU went 0 for 1 in trips to the red zone.
