Last week Rick Stansbury visited Selton Miguel in Orlando, Florida and Kyree Walker of Phoenix, Arizona. This week Stansbury focuses on the state of Kentucky, visiting J.J. Traynor of Bardstown and Zion Harmon of Marshall County.
A senior at Bardstown High School has flew up the recruiting rankings over the summer from unranked to #80 overall in the latest recruiting rankings for 2020.
Head Recruiting analysts Evan Daniels of 247 sports called Traynor “The biggest sleeper in the country.” Stansbury has visited Traynor twice in the past 10 days.
247 Sports views Cincinnati as the favorite to land Traynor in 2020.
Harmon a junior at Marshall County High School is ranked as the #37 overall player in the class of 2021 and the #5 point guard overall. It has also been rumored that Harmon is a lock to reclassify into the 2020 class.
Harmon’s top schools include:
- Western Kentucky
- Murray State
- Seton Hall
247 Sports lists Westen Kentucky as “warm” in landing Harmon.
