Kentucky’s richest man and you’ve never heard of him.

B. Wayne Hughes was named the richest person in Kentucky. He’s worth an estimated $2.8 billion. Hughes is the founder of Public Storage, the largest self-storage company in the United States and lives in Lexington.

He ranks #417 on the Bloomberg billionaires list.

Who Knew there was that much money in Self-Storage?

On Monday March 11 Conference USA announced its members of the all conference teams.

Charles Bassey made all conference 1st team, all-freshmen team, and all-defensive team. Bassey has averaged 15 ppg 9.9 rebs and 2.4 blocks through 31 games thus far. Hollingsworth posted numbers of 14.2 ppg (increasing his avg. from last year, 13.3 ppg) 4.5 rebs and 2.4 ast through 31 games played this year.

Hilltoppers kick off post season play Thursday as they open as the 2 seed in the Conference USA tournament. They’ll take on the winner of North Texas vs. FIU. Tip off is scheduled for 8:30 PM Thursday on Stadium.
