Previewing Saturday’s match-up with undefeated Arkansas Rick Stansbury had this to say during his opening statement,

“I think the most important thing is we’ve got a bigger volleyball game than we do basketball game, don’t we? What an amazing job Coach Hudson and that staff and those players have done.”

Stansbury even mentioned that he was cancelling a recruiting visit tonight to be in attendance. Coach Stansbury likely was scheduled to make the trip to Marshall County to watch 5 star recruit Zion Harmon, who the Hilltoppers have had on their radar since the spring.

Hilltopper Guards Josh Anderson and Camron Justice also spoke to the media following Stansbury’s press conference.

See you all in Diddle tonight and tomorrow night!

WKU Target Eddie Lampkin Has A Big Announcement Coming Soon | WKU Connection

(@liledball)

If you’ve been following WKU Basketball recruiting this summer you know Western Kentucky has been pursuing 3 star PF Eddie Lampkin from Kathy, Texas.

Yesterday afternoon Lampkin posted that he has a big announcement coming soon, and I don’t feel good about it.

Texas schools have been recruiting Lampkin hard over the past month.

Lampkin recently announced he was taking several visits first with TCU starting tomorrow night. Then on to Texas A&M on 10/12 for TAMU vs. Alabama. And finally to Arkansas for Ark. vs. Auburn on 10/19.

Western Kentucky hosted Lampkin back in June on an official visit before he narrowed his list to 5 on August 1st.

Connecting the dots. . .

Lampkins news could be connected with another WKU target Chanse Robinson. The 3 star guard from Grambling, LA announced that he was cutting his list days before Lampkins tweet.

How does this decision by Robinson relate to Lampkin? Robinson and Lampkin have hinted at teaming up in college:

It’s not easy trying to predict what teenagers next move is, but I feel like these hints are related.
